How can the cat shed this much?
Cimbi shed enough to create this fur log. Is this normal?

This time of year they shed a lot. I also notice that as my cat gets older (she is now 2) she is shedding more. My long hair Persian had all kinds of fur logs and was constantly barfing up furballs.

It's all about brushing.......any chance you get. Mine shed like mad, too. esp. in summer.

The more you brush your cat in the summer the more fur you will pick up.
Cat care is all about consistency.
When you brush your own hair ....EVERYDAY....you get hair on your brush. or comb.
Cats are the same. They just have more fur than you do.
Brush that cat everyday and use the SHEDDING comb.
